Right Side Panel for Tub

Bad weather forced me indoors so I got to complete on old project that had stalled. A right side accessory panel for the car. After I programmed the burn table I ran a section of 14gua steel sheet. Here's what I have to offer. $20ea delivered. Unpainted. Just as they came off the press brake. Back i...

Re: Building a better “anti”- mousetrap device.

I did something similar but put the cross brace inside the tub. I'm refering to what looks like a cross tie on top of the snowmen before they asre bolted to the tub. This is not the original Ural tub that came with my rig, it’s a mystery tub that I bought on eBay https://www.sovietsteeds.com/forums...

Re: Driveshaft Ujoint

I would agree with your assessment that your U-joint has been installed 45° off. There is no convenient way to replace it without removing the final drive and I would also recommend removing the U-joint from the final drive before attempting replacement ( it would be very inconvenient to attempt a ...

Re: 80/90 marine gear oil

I'll try. I beleive the only difference between the two is that the marine oil has some extra additives that help it maintain its cling and viscosity when contaminated with water. It'll change color pretty quickly if it gets contaminated. The suspended water molecules will make it milky (think spurg...

Re: Limited Number of Clicks Per Visit

From what I've experienced its the interconnection between my devices and the server. When I get "stuck" for lack of a better word the transition from page to page simply freezes at under 25% (my guess by load bar progress). I can sometimes recoiver a post thats stuck by back-buttoning, most times n...

Re: Limited Number of Clicks Per Visit

I am not of a mind to add other browsers to solve what I think is a problem with this site. I believe that because I do not have any isssues with the nine other forums that I frequent. One of those other nine (FJRiders.com) uses the same software as this site and I do not have any issues when visit...

Re: is there a rear brake pad replacement video?

Be picky if you want. For your rear brake OK you're right. Try that advice on your car or another caliper. Might or might not work. What I told him will work and is easily translatable to any brake set I've ever worked on. You don't over retract piston. OOPS missed the "s". Advice was meant f...

Re: Petcock question

PRI bypasses the vacuum valve that operates in the run podstiion. Essentially if left on PRI and carb leaks you can fill acylinder and part of block with gas. The term is hydrolocked. Trying to satart the negine with an even parftially flooded cylinder will, at best, bend your crank, or at worst, to...
