:cheers: good to hear it was a simple fix. Seems it's usually 2 or 3 different things plotting together to complicate the diagnosis.

I could use all 3 fenders, couple wheels, front rotor, some marker lenses, starter, and I'm sure a bunch of miscellaneous stuff if you want to drop it off at my doorstep :D :D

I've had good luck selling Ural & BMW bits on Ebay, but the trouble with parting out a bike is it takes lots of patience you're usually left with a pile stuff nobody wants. I'm thinking the cost of repairing that bike might exceed it's value with a salvage title, depending what kind of deal you made...

yup, the swingarm bolts need to come out and it just needs to be moved back a little, does not need to come completely out. I left the shocks on but some people unbolt them to make it easier

+1 on the Raceway Carb Perch. That and the 2013 style intake rubbers are 2 of my better Ural improvements.

also check and clean the base and tension of the prong, that's where I've had most of my lightbulb troubles

is donut failure a real issue if you don't beat the bike? I went through 3 donuts in 45000km, each lasted about 15k. The last one could have gone further but I already had the rear end out for repair. Others have reported 80,000 or more on the original. I keep mine lubed with silicone and mostly ar...

Everyone forgets one of the biggest perks to 2wd.... pointing out the sidecar driveshaft to UDF'ers :D :lol:
