BTW, will also bring a 360 camera and my Mac, along with an external drive so we can copy/share or whatever video for those so inclined.
Bring you own storage to take shared video home on.

Re: Engine knock

Hmm, my '11 has 108K, 98 k on the engine that was rebuilt twice in the 1st 10K... I beat the crap out of that poor Retro and she just keeps on running. Guess you either have bad luck early then all ok after Sergey (IMWA) rebuilds it, or enjoy it for years then get to apply Zen and the Art of Motorcy...

Re: For those with a rear drum

Nice! I've been using a BMW drum adjuster nut on my Retro for years. Easier to adjust as well and I still put a nut behind it...

.anyone hung some carbs on the new engine to prove that it really is the EFI making the big difference?
The 2nd generation EFI was developed on standard 2018 engines, so it was proven to be 99% due to the new system, not the mechanical changes.
Good 'cause I'm sure not gonna try it...

Re: 2020 M70

Gee, compared to Christine, the evil M70, I really like the 2019's throttle response, even like my wonderful gas sucking 2011 Retro over the M70's come to think of it... My '19 proved what windmill just said the 1st time I had to pass a Masshole on the Mass Turnpike and found myself doing an unobtai...

Re: 2020 M70

You are KILLING me with this stuff. Just knock it already. I love my 2011, but I hate changing jets. If there was a way to convert mine to the new EFI, I'd be all over it. Much cheaper than a new one. I am glad to hear that the swap was a good choice for you though. I was about to flame Jason over ...

Re: Rode a 2019 - impression

Although I thoroughly enjoyed my little jaunt on the 2019, I wouldn’t trade Erika. She’s just the way I like her and as been extremely dependable. I know her quirks and she’s been tolerant of my ham-fisted riding. As the saying goes, “comfortable like an old shoe.” I still have my Retro and HD and ...
