Re: Said Goodbye To My Dog Today

Thanks so much to all of you. I went on a ride around some of the local back roads and then spent some time out in the garage working on a few projects to clear my head. The worst part was waiting for my two 16 year old children to get home and break the news to them, they were so young when we got ...

Said Goodbye To My Dog Today

I had to make the very tough call to have my 11 year old female pit bull put down today. She was a great member of the family and brought us countless great memories of her antics. I can't believe how hard this has hit me, she had some health issues and I thought I had prepared myself for this momen...

Re: Can't get hydraulic pressure in front brake

I have a mityvac also but I think my Dad has used it more times than I have. I just got used to my DIY one man bleeder and only pull out the mityvac if the other method fails which is a rarity.

Re: EVER hear of or SEE A "STRIBOG"

I saw these reviewed by a few members of a gun forum that I frequent and immediately wanted one but I've been trying to keep myself from spending the money on it. I had almost forgotten about it and now I see it here and it's back on my radar just in time to buy it as a Christmas gift for me. I'll t...

Re: Can't get hydraulic pressure in front brake

I have had good luck filling a squirt type oil can with the brake fluid, slipping clear hose over the nozzle of the squirt can and over the bleed nipple on caliper while slightly cracked open, then pumping brake fluid up through the caliper and into the master cylinder. This has made the job of blee...

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

I shortened my rear turn signal stalk after taking my almost 4 tear old Grandson for about 30 laps of the front and back yard with him laughing almost the entire time. I'd been meaning to shorten the rear signal for some time and decided to get it done after seeing Lofty's post yesterday. I used my ...

Re: New GPR 2-into-1 right exit high mount stainless exhaust

Your right, that would be difficult without a bender. I have a few more projects around the house to complete then it will be time to see what I can cobble together with the welder and grinder.

Re: New GPR 2-into-1 right exit high mount stainless exhaust

I like the looks and sound of the GPR but I already have a Kalaber skid plate. I picked up an extra set of factory head pipes and I'm going to order some pre-bent exhaust tubing and weld up my own 2 into 1 exhaust . It won't be as pretty as the GPR but it will be considerably cheaper.

I can't answer your question about 650 versus 750 but a tourist should be 1wd not 2wd.

Re: Center Stand Spring

you can slip pennies or nickels in between each spring coil to get it to the length that you need, hook the spring back in place and remove coins. At least that's the way that I did it on my sportster so I assume it would work for you.

Re: ECU Snorkel

I reached out to Ural using the "contact us" tab on the website. I have been trading emails with Tyler Blakely and he told me that I would have to take it to my dealer to see if it would be a warranty claim. I just sent him another email to see if they will just send me snorkel and I'll handle the i...
