Re: Flying Brick

I really enjoyed my 1990 K1 16 valve. Road like it was on rails. Great bike. There was a "heat kit" that when installed blocked some of the heat that came off the head and baked your shifter toe. For 1990 it was a pretty slick machine with factory ABS, triple Brembo disc brakes, fuel injection, heat...

Re: I dream of Ural

Interesting take on only running studs on the pusher. Here in New England our winters are no joke. Even in a mild winter our annual snowfall is measured in feet, sometimes many of them. Except for my F250, all our cars and the kids cars wear studs from October to March, typically. The 4WD F250 stay...

Re: WTB Alternator Drive Adaptor

I can't see the photo (lik says something about signing in because it might be porn  ) so don't know what happened. But if you're talking about the alternator to timing case drive adapter do a forum search for "Krytox". Lots of information in several threads there. I had a 2004 which didn't end...

Re: 2015 with cracked rims

Check the date(s) on the rims. There was a recent (just put "cracked rims" into SEARCH) member with I believe a 2015 that had some of those recalled 2012 rims on them. Why the factory was still pulling from the "don't use parts bin" in 2015 is beyond me? Bought a 2016 Ural from the original owner w...

Re: got gloves?

Electrically heated Gerbing gloves. Heated grips don't heat the whole hand just the part that touches. Insulated-only gloves need your body to create the heat at a higher rate than the cold weather zaps it away. Good luck. Hippos Hands keep the snow, ice, rain, and wind off of the hands. Use heated ...

Re: OBD port cover?

Thanks so much, Everyone! So that's the cover that's on my bike but it's missing the release plunger. Most of the pictures I've seen on the various OBD threads here show the port with the cover off I think or the different versions of the ports that vary by model year. It makes sense now. Muc...

OBD port cover?

I have a 2016 GearUp that I got from the original owner. Is there a cover for the OBD port? Here is a pic of what is on the bike. Is there a weather proof cover or something missing?

The special tools, yes. Regular tools like a 13m wrench I use a better quality wrench.

Re: WTB 2 into 1 headers/exhaust system for late 750 carb motor

Seeing how you are riding it off-road I'm guessing you aren't a waxer and polisher type. Have you considered just leaving the stock muffler to get hammered in to the point of no return? I rode my 2004 Gear Up off road a lot. That was half the fun! Those low pontoon mufflers were/are silly. I thought...

No style points for me. :) Was thinking of Tokarev T-33.
Yah, the T-33 might be a bit too long

Imgur does work here, you just needed the .jpg link which links directly to the image itself, rather than the page that has the image on it. You can get that link by right-clicking the picture itself and selecting "copy image address."

I have fixed it for you:
