Re: Hatcher Pass Alaska

We lived in Fairbanks for 17 years. I din't own a Ural then but now realize it is a Ural paradise. You can ride SnoGos 9-10 months a year if you trailer to the HooDoos or Alaska Range and ride the Ural too.

Looks like it needs to lean out!

Still have not come up with a name for mine.
It is at 1 degree. The set-up by Raceway seems dead on. Tracks straight, handles well and takes minimum energy to ride.

Well in the area of Colorado I was in yesterday the temperature was as high as 100 degrees. Could that be a factor?

Re: The Monterey Peninsula ( Moved from VWH )

I was born in Monterey and assigned to Fort Ord as a rifle company commander. A golfer’s heaven, a racing enthusiast’s paradise and a great place to ride a motorcycle. Almost got relieved of command when my XO decided he would fly a rented airplane under the Bixby Creek bridge; once under the cable...

Re: This is getting svcky.

Haven’t noticed a huge number of businesses going under here. The construction business is booming. Many new housing areas under construction and several businesses remodeling. A friend has his own electrical business. He was out doing some work on my shop expansion and said he has all the work he c...

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

Rewired the power source for the starter relay on Spousal Unit's 2019. She was experiencing occasional failure to start which behaved like a faulty relay... all click, no spin. Called my dealer and was told it is a known issue and required a rerouting of a wire on the back of the fuse block. The 19s...

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

The ride in to work this morning was glorious. It had been too long since I had ridden. It started off feeling a little too cool, but it didn't take my body long to adjust to the temperature. The Hella headlight lens and LED bulb work great in the dark and make traffic signs "pop". I didn't ride in...

Re: Bad Gateway Lately?

I have had no such problem, at all, and the issue with a limited number of clicks has not reoccured in quite some time either. All is copacetic from my point of view. I use an iPhone and a Mac, each running Safari.
