Sounds like it might be one of those bolts on the other side of the hub. :?

Re: oil pan torque?

Maybe I should have antiseized mine too. Did 6ftlbs but they must have not liked that number and my Ural started to mark its territory. :?

Re: Any Options??

Mine leaked, but then it stopped :o

To OP, would you consider taking it to another dealer? Maybe Heindl might worth considering? They could tackle everything in one swoop and you might not have any other issues for a long time hopefully :)

Re: Rear brakes dragging

It appears that you have used a green petroleum-based grease on your caliper pin slider bushings. To maximize the life of the rubber o-rings inside the caliper, I recommend using a silicone-based grease, which will not attack and deteriorate the rubber. Thanks! I wasn't even thinking about that.

Re: Rear brakes dragging

A clogged relief port in the master cylinder can certainly result in a brake system that can’t relieve its pressure, yes. Typically when it happens, the heat generated at the pads heats up the fluid, causing it to expand, creating more pressure, causing more friction and heat at the pads, causing t...

Re: Rear brakes dragging

The master cylinders are regular Brembo. I kinda took mine apart on the last brake job for curiosity and it's very simple/ straightforward. The calipers are from I wanna say a 2008 Can Am Spyder, it was a one off caliper but you can get some of the rebuild parts off Bike Bandit or similar. I found ...

Re: Rear brakes dragging

It doesn't look good. Right before I bled the rear brakes. A golden honey color. Note the level it was at. Is this overfilled? https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49936563512_d72ca56292_c.jpg Thanks for the info on the master cylinder/caliper! Tried to take a photo of the master cylinder but it wasn...

Re: Tire Inner Tubes

Double up sounds good and that is a great price for mounting/balancing. Locally it might cost $55/tire at the tire shop. I just did my first ever tire change. It took me forever to do 1 tire. I hope my speed improves the more I do them :)

Re: Rear brakes dragging

Thanks! I'll check the owners manual and check for play at the master cylinder. The parking brake is off. I backed it off to see if it was causing any problems. So right now the parking brake isn't engaging at all. I haven't flushed the brake fluid yet, the reservoir was full but I didn't look too c...

Rear brakes dragging

Just changed my brake pads and went for a ride today. When I got back I tried touching the rear rotor and it was too hot to the touch. I should mention it was like this prior to changing the pads. Its only something I'm just noticing. The bike is still under warantee which is good. I'm wondering wha...
