Re: Social Maintenance Day - July 25

I would like to come again if that is allright with you Hal.

I would especially like to take some photos and get some info on some of the things you have done to your rig, like those safety cords for the hack which you showed me at Heindl’s bbq. Great stuff.

Thank you very much.

Re: Head shake...

As to Sean still selling his R3W damper, I emailed him the following: “Somebody wrote on SovietSteeds today that you no longer offer this. Is that true, because it is the best accessory I have ever bolted onto my rig, and I recommend it all the time. Please let me know either way. Thanks! - Scott“ ...

Re: Head shake...

...Just because you prefer more dampening doesn't mean its a "2nd total POS. Also worthless". That is wrong. Its a quality damper that reliably performs as intended... I disagree 100%. IMO - It's a POS woefully offered as a solution to a serious issue of concern to off-road bound GearUp rigs.. I ha...

Re: Head shake...

No, I’m not wrong. I know exactly what I wrote and what I bought from UralNE. MY EXPERIENCE is that the Bitubo is woefully too weak for serious damping on the Ural GearUp rig, especially off-road, and it is ridiculously priced. I repurposed the 2017 onto my Moto Guzzi California Vintage where it wor...

Sean no longer offers his damper kit.

Who told you this please?

FWIW:

Original 2017 Ural Gear Up factory damper. = Total POS. Worthless

INSANELY EXPENSIVE 2018 Ural factory dampner = 2nd total POS. Also worthless.

Re: Head shake...

I also have Sean's dampner. +100 !

Best accessory I ever bolted onto my rig. Rock solid stability all the time, every condition, without exception.

Re: raceway twin stick install on 2019

I admit I am confused, because 2 years ago when I installed this on my 2017 GearUp, other than having to slightly bend the coil brackets for minor clearance issue, it was a breeze to install.

Whew...

Re: Defective 2017 Ural GearUp

My 2017 Gearup had it’s O2 Sensor and Valves in backward on right side. Took 5 different dealerships across the country before the problem was found and fixed by Kenny at Holopaw. Frustrating as hell isn’t it? That kind of quality control failures is just inexcusable these days, and especially for ...
