We really need to get together and explore the Osceola forest around me. It has a ton of trails..... they just get pretty muddy.
Especially after the rain we just received the past few days.

I picked up a 2012 Gear Up yesterday. Let the games begin!!
That's awesome! Lets see some pics. Might need to look into a function out near Apalachicola National Forest for a fall rally. seems like some good riding out there.

The rim in the pics above is mine.
Fill us in, did this thing unzip itself all at once? Was there any prior indication that it was going to detonate?
I've wondered this myself. I'm interested to hear if it happened all of a sudden and what that felt like.

Re: WTB: front wheel or rim for a 2013.

The rim in the pics above is mine. I just heard from Ural. They state "The factory honors rim replacement for up to 6 years or 15,000km, whichever comes first". I suggest you contact your dealer and see if they will warranty the wheel. Looks like I'm just past the both limits, it's a 2013 and has 1...

WTB: front wheel or rim for a 2013.

Looking for the front wheel or rim for my Gaucho rambler. Mine has developed the cracks and looking to replace. Hoping someone has something out there they are willing to part with. Thanks.

Re: Brake Springs

I didn't even know this was a thing until today. I ended up with a broken spring as well. Going to try to get to Napa and see if they have anything similar to get me through.

Interested.
Do you know if the engine can be converted to carbs?
It would need a different camshaft and a different front cover.

I believe those parts would run about $250 from a dealer.
I ran a 2014 with carbs. Like Albuquralque stated, you will need a different camshaft and front cover.

Re: Engine won't start

Have you checked your timing? If the timing is correct I would try giving the carbs a good cleaning since they sat for awhile.

Re: Dry transmission

PS ... how hot was the case after the ride? When I did check the case it was warm but not hot. This was also after about an 8 mile ride, which was to longest ride since I put it all back together. I will probably change the transmission oil and check the magnetic plug later next week and see if the...

Dry transmission

In my infinite wisdom and hurry to get things going again after the crankshaft swap, "someone" forgot to check the transmission fluid. I drove it 43km like that, it ran fine tillo the last 3km I noticed a whirring sound coming from the transmission in 4th gear only. I took it easy on it the whole 43...

Re: DIY clutch tool

I got this from the local AutoZone, had to cut the top off, left just a slight bit on the end to help keep it centered. I also had to sand it down a bit to fit because it was a little too big to fit. But it works great for the price.

Just installed a new crank in my 2013 Gaucho

I just finished installing the new D10 crank in my gaucho. It was a learning experience but not difficult. Does there need to be a break in period with a new crank?

Re: Flywheel stripped

Three-jaw puller and hammer 🔨 tapping for the win. Thanks for the help. The jar puller is definitely tricky to get in there though.

Now smack the flywheel with a hammer. It should pop off.
Is there a sweet spot for the hammering on the flywheel? Heat help with the process? It looks like there is the same type of thread material around the crankshaft that was in the the clutch screws. I'll try the 3 jaw puller tomorrow.
