If you have a blue flame and bike starts right up hot or cold with elec starter I wouldn't change anything except your presentation, how much throttle are you grabbing? 1/4 throttle? Crank is toast, left side rod real tight on journal and no side play, Have new crank just wanted to know if there was bad history on small end bushings, or maybe rod seizing caused this, I will chalk it up to isolated incident, have new crank ready to go

My bad Snakeoil meant to say big end bearing is tight on journal no side play when I removed piston small end bushing came out in pieces, was just wondering if before I install new crank if I should replace small end bushing with better quality product, didn't know if there was known problem with th...

Ural 650 crank small end bushing failure

Removed left side piston on 650 Ural crank left side rod big end bearing toast, when I pushed wrist pin out and removed piston small bushing came out in pieces, wrist pin didn't have any discoloration, some darkness on bushing pieces, anybody ever had problems with bushing?

1st I have heard of modified cam for 650 from Crawford's Cycle, so how does it change torque curve? Is this a cam designed by Terry or someone else? Is there a thread on here about the product? Cost of cam? Thank you

Am I correct in saying that the only oil lubrication the connecting rod bearings get is from oil splashed on the crank? There is no other means of oil delivery to the rod bearings? Thanks

So the cap came off in the neighborhood, can't say I seen the drive gear for pump poking out the top, block away from house and returned, retightened cap, gear could of popped up I guess and seated itself at sometime, bike ran for close to 100 miles, anything can happen, could the bike make it that ...

Yes I watched his video and put it to use to prime and check oil pump and that passages are clear

Reason for all the questions, 97 650 original crank went around 5k miles, Right side con rod bearing froze up, rebuilt motor flushing all passages with cleaner and compressed air New big end bearings new crank, new oil pump, primed motor before putting covers on, everything seemed fine, cap on top o...

So when oil leaves the pump does it flow to front main bearing and cam bearing misting the camshaft and bushing and trickling down the pushrod tube oiling the top end and returning to sump through drain hole in head and cylinder, the rear main bearing is last to receive oil with excess hitting the s...
