[I originally posted this message on Iron Curtain M/C.; I have re-posted it here so that it might help more people.]

Here is some possibly helpful information I have gathered from various sources.

Because I often have issues with the indices provided by tech manual authors, I have cross-referenced each part in several different ways. Spark plug information, for example, may be had under ELECTRICAL; or IGNITION; or PLUGS, SPARK; or SPARK PLUGS.

I have not had the opportunity to test all of this data. I am putting it here in hopes that (1) someone might find it useful, (2) those who try it will add their comments, and (3) other readers will reply with other useful remarks (as VWNate1 has done -- thanks!)

Outstanding job! I take it these #s are for an '06 750? The reason I ask, some of the trans and FD seals have changed, depending on year, or something. Thanks!

Good info all but it really should be cleaned up to reduce all the duplicate entires .

Anyway , the alternator gearwoodruff key is a 3MM , same as VW Beetle , ALL , '38 ~ '79 generator or alternator equipped .

NAPA's U-joint should be # 111-X , has a Zerk fitting .

you might want to add that to the orginal sticky .

The duplications are deliberate. Remember I wrote: Because I often have issues with the indices provided by tech manual authors, I have cross-referenced each part in several different ways. Spark plug information, for example, may be had under ELECTRICAL; or IGNITION; or PLUGS, SPARK; or SPARK PLUGS.

I added the alternator Woodruff key. Now, as to the NAPA U-joint: Is that for the sidecar, or is it the other U-joint?

The NAPA # 111X U-joint replaces the Spicer # 5-111X U-joint .

I hope this helps .

If you poke through my posts over on the R.I. Boards , you'll find the odd part #'s and brands of jobs I did on my Ural .

Many parts differ between 650 and 750 Urals too .

It does help -- very much. Thank you. I have updated the list.

I never was able to get into the RI boards, so if you could re-post here, I daresay you would make lots of people grateful (I can call one by name! :D )
