clickity clack thats all right?

Postby hotflash44 » Thu Aug 31, 2017 4:10 pm

Hi, guys the other day someone here mentioned that the Ural sounded loud with the helmet removed,DUH! Anyway got me to thinking, about the Ural noisy valve clatter. Someone please explain why the lifters/valve train is more noisy when at a 850rpm vs 1050rpm in neutral. clickity clack then give a little gas and rather smooth and quieter. Is it the increased oil to the valves at the higher rpm?
