I guess I am smart enuff to know that it isn't a seat frame in there and that what is in there currently is a piece of wood. What I was referring to was a picture of a seat, a framed seat, pictured above. I was thinking there ought to be a frame that could be modified to fit in that small space and be more comfortable than the piece of wood with "mad upholstering" padding.

Hi, Rich

For some reason I can't see any of the photos of your gear, but would like to see what you make. I have a 2013 retro m70 and will likely need to replace the original tonneau cover and windscreen skirt in the near future.

Do you have a site to see any of your gear, or I live in vb and could drop by. Glad to hear you're still making stuff!

I lost my site back when Yahoo Geocities shut down. Lost my photos on the forums after PhotoBucket became an extortion racket. So I have no way to show you anything unless I was to take a pic and text it to you. To complicate it, hotmail has shut down my account and dumped all my files. Verizon also got out of the e-mail business, but at least I was able to ghost the account and its files over to AOL.
Not a good year to use the internet IME.

What I can do is to eloquently describe what I build in high detail. So I can paint a vivid mental picture for you.

I can still build tonneaus. In fact I have a pattern that I know for a fact will fit the newer bikes thanks to some excellent feedback from a customer and his patience in helping me work it out!
yeah, I might be addicted to brake fluid. But I can stop any time I want.

Your @$$ WILL thank you if you buy a Rich Maund gel seat cover ! .

I'm hoping the one I bought for the tractor seat on my 2010 Solo sT survived the crash .

Last time I checked the one on my '94 Tourist's seat was still doing fine......

NO REGRETS ! .

Just received my Basket Weave seat cover from Rich. Fit's my Tourist seat like a glove. Extremely comfortable. Rich does a top notch job and follows up with messages on fit and style. Top notch work.

Piney
I can still make tire covers. What type of camo are you looking for? I have a four color woodland camo in cotton duck I can use. I have some multicam and some light olive drab. These last two are 1000 denier Cordura. Tire covers are $140 each shipped. I can sew a thick leather washer in the middle to allow the spare tire stud to come thru if you need it.

Define Retro. (I say that because there are a bunch of Ural owners who confuse their regular rigs with the model called the Retro. Yes, I understand they are all retro, but for a few years, one WAS actually called the Retro. It had that rubber boot heel added up front to make the rubber tractor seat longer.) For the early Retro bikes with the elongated rubber saddle, YES, I do make seat covers for them. Same as in the photo up above but tailored with the longer nose to fit over the boot heel.
